Captive Insurance Program
An illustration of the diferences in the traditional vs. captive program:

TRADITIONAL:

  1. ABC Company is a manufacturer and pays $500,000 in liability and
    workers’ compensation insurance premiums.
  2. Over the past three years ABC’s insurance company paid $115,000 a year
    on average in claims.
  3. ABC paid $4.34 dollars to the insurance company for every $1 that was paid
in claims. That is a cost of over 400% on ABC’s dollar.
  4. Profits go to the insurance company.
CAPTIVE PROGRAM:
  1. ABC Company joins Captive Resources and pays $35,000 for the initial fee.
  2. Based on ABC’s $115,000 per year claim history the new annual premium
in the Captive Resources LLC program will be $275,000.
  3. ABC is now paying $2.40 per $1 of claims paid, bringing the cost of
insurance from 400% to 200% on ABC’s dollar.
  4. The profit from ABC’s dollar after expenses goes back to ABC Company
